Introducing 4 delightful Puppies with Autumn inspired names
Starting from the left meet
Twig (Male, Runt), Pumpkin (Female, Small Apricot), Aspen (Female, White),
Ginger (Female, Apricot- Under Contract)
Ginger (Female, Apricot- Under Contract)
Individuals features below:
Twig is our curly, runt male! We fed him with a bottle the first week since he wasn't strong enough to keep up with the other puppies. My husband and I took turns waking every 3 hours in the night to make sure he had enough puppy formula to gain weight. The sleepless nights and long days paid off. He loves cuddles with all the people time he had. We nicknamed him Twig and it stuck.
Pumpkin is our small, apricot female. She needed extra feeding for an entirely different reason. She would fall asleep before she was done feeding!!! This girl is the first to fall asleep and last to wake. She tends to be found on the bottom of the puppy pile with Twig right beside her. As you can see, she didn't make it through our photos, but we got one picture with her awake! She is a peaceful girl. She received the name of my favorite food/decoration that we harvest this time of year, Pumpkin.
Aspen is our white, female. We named her before we noticed she has a small streak of black hair on the underside of her ear! It's charming and very much like an Aspen tree. She enjoys playing and cuddling in equal measure. She received her name as my favorite tree is an Aspen. They are beautiful, particularly in the fall. When the pups wear out she generally lays on top of the puppy pile with Ginger and faces outward to drowsily keep her eyes on us.
Ginger is our large, apricot female (under contract). This girl is playful and inquisitive. She is all about making friends! She is our first awake and last asleep. Her goal is to enjoy each minute as it comes. She will play to the very moment sleep takes her, and just like that she is asleep. She warms my heart. Ginger landed her fall name by being the spice that adds something special and warm on a cool fall day!
