Easter Video of Valentine's Eve Litter-Final

This is where it gets very hard for me and our family as a breeders.  We are attached to each pup.  Their personalities are endearing and we have bonded! It is important to promote trust and prepare each pup for their permanent family. But for me it is very hard to let them go! Please text me pictures every so often!!! And if you don't mind, include permission for me to use them on my blog. I will bring a form for you to sign.  I have had others give permission through text, but it maybe better to have the form signed.  It is good for others to see how the pups look at different stages and the different haircuts they may have fully grown.  Their hair offers a multitude of looks for  a fully grown dog depending on how you like it.  Fluffy and long or short and sporty with everything in between.

I decided to catch them as they play for this video.  I followed them around in the video, when they go to our door they are ready to go inside.

Future Puppy Owners for the drive home: You should have 2 people.  One to drive and one to tend the puppy.  Bring some dog toys that are new.  Never give them something as a toy that has your scent on it such as an old shoe or old shirt.  You can see they are chewing on our fingers and shoe laces.  We don't let them do that in general.  We have toys we place in their mouths when they chew, but this was exercise and exploring time.  In the car they will be chewy, they will need diversions.  I will send a toy with them, but you will need a couple more to keep their interest.  Also bring some water if you have a long way to travel and possible wipes and baggy.

The first night alone will be hard on each pup.  They are accustomed to their group and they will cry, it could be a couple of nights of sorrow for the puppy.  I recommend giving them an extensive play time to wear them out before bed.  It will help, give them the blanket we send with you and some toys for comfort.

I will give you a packet of hints for training and house training along with a doggy door which we prefer.  I will also provide an article on changing the diet of your pup.

Parting is such sweet sorrow!!!!  Please use this week to read over the previous post and prepare yourself for a new family member.  I hope our videos have already helped form a bond between you and your puppy.  You have been able to see them grow and change since the day of their birth through picture or video.  Now you will be the primary care giver and be able to experience the full joy of your pup.  They really are happiness in a furry ball!
