Designer Maltese and Poodle combination puppies!

This is our first ever batch of puppies. They were born on the 4th of July 2017!!!
We named them from left to right: Yankee Doodle (light apricot with white highlights), Independence (Silver), and Liberty (Silver with white highlights).

Sire and Dam
Cecil in front and Chloe in back.

The above features our Sire.  Cecil, he is apricot with some white highlights.  Isn't he adorable, he had us with those bright brown eyes!!!
This is our family with Chloe, the Dam.  She was our divine find!!! She started this whole thing for us.  We had no intention of breeding.  However, her wonderful personality and the spot she filled in our family became an inspiration and we decided to breed.

I wanted to give sample pictures of how loving my dam and sire are with their puppies.  They play and are so friendly!  I want to show some of their different shades as well. This is our 4th of July Litter.  They are old enough to play outside and in the kitchen.  These were taken for their forever families so they could watch them grow.
Proud pop rolling in the grass with the kids.

Mother is in the mix and the three pups are all having fun.

This had to be the cutest tug of war game I have ever seen!!!

Beautiful coats on all three, two are curly and one is more straight.

Here is Yankee Doodle (Now Molly) in her new home in October of 2017.  We could not be happier for the 3 families that fell in love with our first litter!
ABOVE is sweet Liberty (Libby)  in her new home!

We do not sell puppies all the time.  We breed and then we are done for a time.  Please check in for future posts for availability.
We are expecting a litter in February 2018.  Who knows, maybe we will get lucky and have Valentine puppies!!!!

Why we chose a Maltese Poodle mix.

We started this journey by searching out a dog that would be great for all of us.  My husband wanted a smart dog.  I wanted a clean dog that would train easily.  My children wanted a dog that was friendly and sporty that they could walk and play with.  This may sound simple to find.  But that perfect combination was a tall order. I love all dogs and still do. My husband was the one to find this breed.  We had been researching for a year or more before deciding.

Maltipoos are small in size and large in heart. They love their families.  They are loyal but accepting of others.  They do not require a lot of exercise but a brisk walk and a game of fetch or tug of war is a favorite activity.

Maltipoos are clean as far as pawed critters go.  They do not slobber.  Their snouts offer enough length to prevent snoring for most of them.  They do not shed, you will not find the clots of hair around, in fact we have next to none ever!  While they do require grooming their small size makes it cheaper depending on your groomer. And because they are smaller they eat cleaner and the do-do clean up is much easier. You will notice I tend to keep my dogs hair short, but if you let it grow they can be very fluffy!

They are athletic.  Do not let their small stature fool you! They are coordinated and quick to learn tricks.  Gentle training goes a long way for this breed! They are smart and will pick up on things.  You tube offers great ideas for training.

As stated above they are a friend first.  They do love their family and being alone for extended periods of time is hard on them. They are most happy when their family or at least some of their family is home with them.

Because they are hypoallergenic they are an indoor pet.  Their fur is similar to very soft hair and it does not protect them from heat or cold.  They need a moderate temperature and that is inside the house with their owners.
